This recent blog entry, entitled SAAS Doesn’t Pay, Oracle’s Ellison Says, noted that Oracle CEO Larry Ellison made comments that essentially knock SAP's recently unveiled midmarket on-demand strategy Business ByDesign. Ellison stated that Oracle is instead moving “beyond ERP [enterprise resource planning] to industry-specific software." You can’t get anymore industry specific than Plexus Online.
